Relicmongers
is an art group founded by artists themselves in 2002,
altrustically to showcase art and artistic practices
of the world. Time to time it introduces year long
art projects to make public utility object into an
art work. The initialization of these projects were
for showcasing and documenting art. Though, we have
introduced two projects one is called Art Envelop
in 2006 and the other one is called Photo Art in 2007.
Photo
Art, like the first one, aimed at the miniature format
of an art work in this project we initialized passport
size photograph as an art work. The idea caught fire
among the creative community, now many artists are
working on this format for their expression. Anil
Sharma one of our founder members working in Technia
Institute of Art had introduced this project as a
kind of participation from the students that indeed
helped us to connect to more and more institutions
and students around the country. In this project more
than 50 artists participated and being exhibited in
this website.
